Privacy Policy Statement

Pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree nr. 196 dated 30 June 2003 Code regarding the protection of personal information

The purpose of this document is to inform users of "alypo.com" web site of the Policy adopted by Alypo as regards the protection of personal information, underlining its commitment and attention to safeguarding the privacy of users. Users are required to register in order to use the site and access their own private area. Therefore, users are required to provide their personal information to access said application and they must be expressly informed under art. 13 of Legislative Decree nr. 196 dated 30 June 2003, Code regarding the protection of personal information (hereinafter referred to as the Code) indicating, by way of example, the purpose and the manner in which said information will be used by Alypo, as well as the right to request the cancellation or the updating of said information at any time (art.7 of the Code)

The information and data provided by the users or otherwise acquired by Alypo using the alypo.com web site, will be subject to processing in accordance with provisions and Italian laws regarding the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and with Recommendations from the Group of European Authorities (n. 2 May 17, 2001).

According to the provisions of the Code, the processing carried out by Alypo will be characterized by the principles of honesty, legality, transparency and the protection of your privacy and your rights.

Pursuant and according to Legislative Decree nr. 196/2003 ("Code regarding the protection of personal information" ? hereinafter " Privacy Code") Alypo. provides the following information.

Pursuant to art. 28 of the Privacy Code, the identification data of the Data Controller for the processing of the data which you provided, is Alypo. The Data Processor of the processed information, pursuant to art. 29 of the Privacy Code, within the scope of alypo.com site, is the pro tempore Alypo CEO. Users may request the name of the Data Processor by sending a request to the addresses above.

The type of personal information we may collect could include, for example, your name and mail address, date of birth, gender, telephone and fax numbers and lifestyle and other information collected on registration or through surveys. If you choose to provide us with personal information it will be used in support of the intended purposes stated at the time at which it was collected, and subject to any preferences indicated to you. You acknowledge that by providing data to us, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We endeavour to collect and use your personal information only with your knowledge and consent and typically when you use services, make enquiries, register for information or other services, or when you respond to communications from us (such as questionnaires or surveys).

Pursuant to art.7 of the Privacy Code, you have the right to obtain information regarding the processing of your details from the Data Processor, including obtaining the confirmation of the existence of your personal information, an indication of the source of the personal information, how it is processed and the motivation, the logic applied, the details of the parties who have access to or may become aware of your private information, the deletion of your personal information or the termination of its processing. You may, at any time, exercise your rights under art. 7 of the Privacy Code by sending a request to Data Processor indicated above.

By using the site, you agree that we may use your Personal Information to tailor your experience on our Service, serve advertising we think may be relevant, understand your preferences, and provide you with proposals we think may be of interest. It is your responsibility to give us current, complete, truthful and accurate information and to keep the Personal Information you provide us up to date. We reserve the right to revoke and/or terminate your right to use our Application and/or reject and delete any entry you make, if we have reason to believe information you provide to us is or may be false, fraudulent or inconsistent with this Privacy Policy or in violation of the Terms of Use. We are not liable in any way or responsible for damage that may arise if you do not give us accurate, truthful or complete information or you fail to update the information you give us. Unless we obtain your consent, we will not use your Personal Information for any purpose other than as listed above.

You agree that we may share your Personal Information with any of our parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, as well as with our operational service providers that assist in providing our application.
We will not share Personal Information we obtain in connection with our application with any non-affiliated parties unless you opt in or consent (which you may be doing when you sign up, enroll or participate in any promotion, activity, co-branded Service, joint promotion, feature or function) and you always have the right to opt out at any time. If you do opt in or consent you will be deemed to have given your consent to us and the third party involved to collect, maintain, process, store and use your Personal Information for the purposes described in the opt in or consent. For Personal Information provided directly to third parties through the Service, if you wish to opt out of that third party's use of your Personal Information, you will need to contact them directly.
For the processing of personal data we mean any operation or operations carried out concerning the collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, interconnection, cancellation, communication, deletion and/or destruction of data. We would also like to inform you that personal data which is subject to processing could include textual information, videos, audio tracks, or any other information according to the utilization of the application.

Some aggregate, non-personally identifiable data we collect in connection with our Application may be shared with our business partners, but we do not give any Personal Information to them unless permitted by this Privacy Policy or unless you have otherwise provided your consent.

You agree that we may make your Personal Information available to non-affiliated third parties for security, legal or other purposes necessary to protect our interests or the interests of others, including times when:
we are compelled by a governmental agency, court or other judicial or regulatory authority; we believe your actions violate a law or regulation, a term or condition of the Terms of Use or if you threaten the rights, property or safety of us, any customers, users, or any other third party;
we believe, in our sole judgment and discretion, that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, to protect our business and assets, to defend our interests or to comply with any legal and regulatory obligations; or we are involved in a merger, acquisition, transfer of control, joint venture or other business combination or in the event of bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings.

We maintain commercially reasonable standards of security and confidentiality, however, for most websites, wireless and mobile communications, it is possible third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
We conduct financial transactions via secured transmissions but may not always secure other parts of our Application in the same way. Please be aware that communications over the Internet are not secure unless they have been encrypted. Your communications may route through a number of countries before being delivered - this is the nature of the World Wide Web/Intranet. Alypo cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that is beyond our control.

We also limit access to our Application by our own employees to individuals who are authorized and trained for the proper handling of such information. Any employee found violating our policies and standards of security and confidentiality will be subject to our disciplinary processes. We request our operational service providers to follow the same policy. If an actual or suspected breach of information security that is subject to a law that applies to you or your Personal Information, we will notify you (and any required law enforcement and regulatory authorities) as and when required by law.

You may access, review, correct, update and/or delete Personal Information collected by or through our Service, as well as user information you may have entered during registration, the subscription process or your usage of our Application. Certain Personal Information may be subject to corporate, audit and regulatory recordkeeping requirements and will be retained for such period(s) as permitted by law.

We will not allow direct access to any Personal Information by any person without the Registered User?s or Subscriber's User ID or appropriate identification. Personal Information necessary to check eligibility, such your email address, may only be modified with sufficient verification. If you delete or attempt to delete such information, it may result in the suspension of any and all rights you may have to use our Application.

We always reserve the right to deny, suspend, deactivate, terminate and cancel any registration, subscription, User ID and the use of or access to our Application, if we believe there is a doubt about the identity of the person trying to use our Application. If the burden or expense of providing access to your Personal Information is disproportionate to the risks to your privacy or if the legitimate rights of others would be violated, we may charge you the operating expenses to cover the administration costs involved. In such cases, we will provide you with an explanation of the entity of the administration cost, the motivation, and a contact person for further inquiries.

It may be necessary to transfer your personal information to other companies within or operating business partners located in countries outside of the European Economic Area. This may happen where our servers or such companies are based outside of the European Economic Area or where you use our services and products while visiting countries outside of the European Economic Area. Should this transfer be necessary, as mentioned, you consent to the transfer and understand that the data protection and other laws of these countries may not be as comprehensive as those in Italy or the EU - in these instances we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights are respected.

Alypo reserves the right to amend or modify this Privacy Policy Statement at any time and in response to changes in applicable data protection and privacy legislation.

We will notify you about significant changes of this policy by placing a prominent notice on our blog.
